Hello, I’m James Frisby. Over 17 years ago, I embarked on a journey in the fitness industry, driven by a vision. I wanted to ignite a revolution, to impact the vibrant youth of Winchester, VA, to tap into an athlete’s raw potential – and so, FASST was born. My goal was beyond just speed, agility, or strength. It was about molding character, instilling confidence, and building mental resilience.

With certifications like NASM’s CPT, PES, CES, and YES under my belt, I’ve been privileged to mentor top athletes from high schools, colleges, and even professionals in the VA/DC Metro area. What gives me joy is watching them not just score goals or win races but also witnessing them emerge as beacons of strength in life.

An athlete’s journey isn’t just about sprinting or dodging; it’s about the split-second decisions, the swift change of directions, and mastering control over one’s body. I’ve tailored the FASST Training programs to focus on this intricate dance. And though genes might determine your start line, I firmly believe it’s the environment and rigorous training that shape your finish. “My name is Sadie Kerns, I play Division I soccer at Longwood University. I’ve been training at Fasst since I was around 10 years old. 

I initially went to FASST for team soccer trainings at the old FASST building and continued to go for some goalkeeper training. I started getting into the speed and lifting trainings during my sophomore year of high school. My level of play skyrocketed after beginning training. 

I became stronger, more explosive, and had much better footwork in goal. My improved performance ultimately led me to achieve some great accolades. 

FASST also sparked my passion for fitness and nutrition. I frequently use their tips from speed training and lift programs in my personal workouts. Off the field, they’ve given me insight into a healthy diet and how to stay disciplined. Fasst has truly made me the athlete I am today.
